At basic home and garden, we work hard to ensure that products are properly packaged for shipping, and that the items you previewed are consistent with the items you receive. If you are not certain about a color or size, please contact us to purchase a sample. If your order containes damaged product, you must make product claims immediately to the shipper and you must keep your packaging for a minimum of 5 days after completing your claim with them. Once your claim is resolved (we recommend claiming for product and replacement shipping total),
please contact us with the product you need replaced. When re-shipped, you will then be charged for the replacement product and freight.
If you decide to return a portion of or your entire order, you may also make claims within this time period and unfortunately, we must charge a 30% re-stocking fee. We work hard to keep our prices the lowest in the industry and we do not charge for shipping and handling. Upon product receipt, a refund will be issued to the cardholder for the product cost (minus the re-stocking fee) and will take approximately 10-14 business days to post to your account. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
Please enclose the following with your return claim:
- A copy of the original packing slip, indicating which items and the quantity of the items you are returning
- The reason for the return
- Any special instructions or questions
- please note that we cannot provide a refund for non salable product
